1. The service
FavMint provides a free, browser-based favicon generator and logo maker (the "Service"). No account is required. We may change, improve, or discontinue features at any time.
2. Your designs
Favicons, logos, and other files you create with FavMint belong to you. You may use them for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including on websites, apps, products, and marketing, without attribution.
You are responsible for what you create. Make sure your names, text, and designs don't infringe anyone else's trademarks, copyrights, or other rights. FavMint doesn't check designs for trademark conflicts, and we can't guarantee that a design is unique or registrable as a trademark.
3. Icons and fonts
Icons come from Lucide under the ISC license, and fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License. Both allow commercial use in the designs you export. The icons and fonts themselves remain the property of their authors.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
- create designs intended to impersonate another person, brand, or organization;
- interfere with or overload the website, or try to access it in unauthorized ways;
- copy, resell, or rebrand the FavMint website or its code as your own service.
5. FavMint's brand
The FavMint name, logo, and website design are ours. These terms don't grant you any rights to them, apart from linking to the site.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that exported files will display identically in every browser or device.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FavMint and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Since the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, or the lowest amount permitted by applicable law.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also covered by our privacy policy, which explains how your designs stay on your device.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
